Every year the LYC schedules a number of day and overnight cruises. Open to sail and power boats alike, this is a great way to enjoy the best of the southern bay area. The following are being planned for 2010:

29-30 May 2010: HOT!!! Memorial Day Weekend Cruise-Out w/Overnight @ Waterside Marina in NorfolkClick Here for Marina Info
DETAILS: We will all meet up on the water of Hampton Flats near Willoughby Bay around 10:30am for a one-leg race to the Middle Ground Lighthouse near the Monitor Merrimac tunnel. There will be a prize for the winner. Afterward, we will head for downtown Norfolk and tie up at Waterside Marina to stay the night. Anyone not wanting to stay the night at Waterside can of course drive and meet us there. We have reservations at the Freemason Abbey for dinner. Power squadron members are welcome to come aboard for the one leg sail race--there should be plenty of space.
